Gesture Cube

Gesture Cube lets you solve the classic 2×2 Rubik's cube on screen, using only hand gestures. Open your camera and the cube appears in front of you. Make a fist and turn your hand to rotate it, and move the layer you select with your fingers. Whenever you get stuck, you can turn on the hint switch and the next move is shown on the cube. At the end, you'll see your move count and time. There's nothing to install and no extra hardware, so you can open it in your browser and try it right away.

Gameplay

The cube starts moving with you once both hands make a fist. It turns as you turn your right hand and settles into a clean angle when you let go. There's no need to rush your finger signs. The system only counts what it sees clearly, so the cube never turns by accident. At the end, your move count and time are shown alongside the shortest possible solution.

How does it work?

Hand tracking
21 landmarks per hand are detected in your browser on every camera frame.
From gesture to move
Your fist, finger count and hand motion are turned into cube moves. Unclear hand poses are deliberately ignored, so the cube never turns by accident.
Hint
The shortest solution is recalculated from the cube's current state after every move. Turn on the hint and the next move is shown right on the cube.
